Breakfast with the Hysterics

Hooray for Boston-based sports teams! Last night was a solid night for both the Celtics and Bruins, who each posted a tough win on the road. First the Celtics, who took care of the Miami Heat with some sharp-shooting from long range. As soon as you hear that, you know Ray Allen had a good game, which he did, and the rest of the big names contributed nicely in an all-around solid effort. But the biggest shock was one Eddie House, who just went OFF, pouring in twenty points in the second quarter alone. The tattooed midget was 6 for 8 from long range in the quarter, the best 3-point performance in a frame for the Celtics since former slam dunk champ Dee Brown went 6 for 7 in a game against Dallas. Cherish it Eddie, you'll be back to taking ill-advised shots and committing foolish turnovers in no time.

Now onto the Bruins, who actually won a shoot-out last night! There was certainly more to the game than that - B's were down 3-1 in the third and rallied to send it into OT before Michael Ryder took care of the Leafs in the shoot-out. I watched some of this game with HZMLS, and as we tried to learn players names, we became more and more confused. All I could tell him for certain about specific players is that "Raquel thinks he's hot." In fact, it kind of went like this:

HZMLS: What the fuck is a Blake Wheeler?
SB: (high-pitched girl voice) "Oh he's hot! Read my Bruins columns and you'll know! I like whiskey!" *
HZMLS: Hm. Now who is Shawn Thornton?
SB: (same voice) "Oh he's so dreamy! I have a crush on him!" **

And so on and so on. Which brings me to my question for the masses: Who is the hottest professional athlete right now?

*Just kidding you guys, Raquel's not really like that.

**Yes she is.

I'm sure with enough whiskey you'd find him dreamy enough.
