Breakfast with the Hysterics

Yes that is a "Moon Over My Hammy"

The Prize Patrol really needs to get to him, and fast.

* The Red Sox continued their home domination with a 5-1 win yesterday at Fenway Park. This is the Sox 12th straight home win, look for FMRA's next prop bet to be that the Sox never lose at home again. The 2007 Josh Beckett was back again yesterday pitching 6 innings and striking out 5. Also Oki was a breath of fresh air, as the now inconsistent set up man struck out two in his inning of work.

* Color me optimistic but I am really excited to see JD Drew hitting in the 3 hole in front of Manny. I was hard on him last year, but Drew has one of the sweetest swings in baseball and has the potential to be a threat in the middle of the lineup. ***SMALL SAMPLE SIZE WARNING**** Since the injury to Papi, Drew is 5-9 with 2 walks.

* Raise your hand if you were excited to see Coco getting more player time due to the Ortiz injury. Ok now put your hand down and sob, Coco left the game last night after jamming his thumb after sliding in 2nd base. XRays were negative, but this might be the injury that brings my boy Brandy Moss back into the majors.

*The NHL playoffs are finally over. Red Wings WIN!

Um hi I distinctly recall ordering the All-American Slam.

Also, when did Akinori Iwamura become everyone's favorite target for aggressive slides? Poor dude's going to need to start wearing some kind of lower-body armor.
